Indiana Janes

INDIANA JANES is a screenwriting partnership with Meg Swertlow and two-time Latin Grammy winner Alisha Gaddis.

Meg and Alisha have been friends for over 15 years and in 2019 they teamed up to use their comedic talents to tell stories. The energetic twosome began performing improv comedy together on the touring improv group, Proletarian Improv. They are currently writing Untitled Wedding Movie for Four Leaf Productions, developing an animated series for Latin America called La Pequena Arana and developing a romcom with Hallmark star Jessy Schram. Their name Indiana Janes inspired Alisha's daughter, Indiana Maven Diaz and their mutual love of Steven Spielberg's classic film series.

Rejected: The Podcast

Meg and Alisha will be doing a weekly podcast called Rejected: The Podcast.

There’s nothing quite like putting your heart, soul and talent on the line – only to be REJECTED.

Artists and professionals get personal with their rejection stories; embarrassing,  nerve-wracking, heartbreaking and always hilarious.

In each episode, the highly energetic duo of Alisha and Meg chat with a creative  person about their biggest, best, baddest, boldest and most epic rejections— whether it be in love, career or family—and ultimately how that experience helps  shape their current success.

On Rejected: The Podcast, listeners can cringe, laugh, listen and learn from the multitude of rejections of once-rebuffed now-triumphant actors, writers, directors, fashion designers, musicians and more!
